  21. The light flashes when something accesses the SCSI bus.  In this case, 
  22. it's the system polling the CD-ROM to see if the CD has been changed.  If 
  23. it bothers you, it is usually possible to hook up the LED to the hard 
  24. drive itself, so it'll only come on during hard drive access.  But it is 
  25. normal, and nothing to worry about.
